Bradford “Bubba” Joyce was with the Los Angeles County Fire Department for 35 years. He is a native of Los Angeles California. After graduating from Crenshaw High School in 1969, he entered the United States Marine Corp where he did two tours in Viet Nam. Upon his return to the states he joined the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and held the rank of Fire Fighter. His various assignments in the Fire Department included helicopter brush crew, urban search and rescue, hazardous materials squad, as well as fire boat crew. During his 35 years of service he was stationed in Malibu, South Central, Huntington Park, West Hollywood, Marina Del Rey and Ladera Heights. He was, acknowledged by the City of West Hollywood, as Fire Fighter of the year, twice.

He has worked to preserve the history and legacy of the Stentorians organization. Bradford, has served as a member of the executive board for 6 years and Director at Large for 8 years. He has hosted the Ebony reunion for retired firefighters since its inception 10 years ago.
