Greetings,
The African American Firefighter Museum has teamed up with the Sullen Art Collective to create the first annual Fire Helmet Artshow. This year’s theme is a tribute to 9/11. As well this year marks the 15th year anniversary of the tragic events during 9/11. We have accumulated 30 retired Firefighter helmets all were worn by Firefighters serving the citizens of the greater Los Angeles area. These melted, scratched, and cracked helmets will be used as canvases by some of the best Tattoo Artists in the world. These artists have free reign to paint and create their work on these helmets. Helmets will be on display for charity auction and for sale via www.aaffmuseum.org (African American Firefighter’s Museum) throughout the year after the event is over. Proceeds will go to the African American Firefighter Museum and the Junior Firefighter Youth Foundation.

We have reserved a location on Saturday, September 10th . Entrance is FREE
