Drive, Fly, Float & Ride

The Inaugural Drive, Fly, Float & Fly Auto Show is a competition open to the public. During this event, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their cars, trucks, and motorcycles. A food truck will be onsite, and an award show will be held at the conclusion of the event.

The African American Firefighter Museum Drive, Fly, Float & Ride Exhibit is an interactive collection dedicated to those community members who transport fire and emergency medical personnel to those in need. This collection aims to highlight these brave individuals through photographs, articles, and oral histories. Visitors are invited to share stories and articles of their Department’s first, notable, or amazing historic individuals and/or events. There has been significant diversity in the modes of transportation used throughout fire and emergency service history. Including Helicopters, Fire Engines, Planes, Boats,  Bicycles, Horses, Heavy rescue, Ambulances, Trucks, Water rescue vehicles, and more.
